USAID Data Services

USAID Data Services provides a broad portfolio of products and services specifically designed to help USAID staff and partners improve development outcomes through the use of data and information. The following data portals serve as a central source for U.S. foreign assistance data, international socioeconomic data, and data-driven analysis in support of USAID goals.

Latest Updates

  • Printable one-pagers with critical data on democracy, human rights, and governance (DRG) issues are now available on IDEA. The DRG Data Portraits are a collaborative effort between USAID Data Services in M/CIO and the Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG).
  • USAID's International Data & Economic Analysis (IDEA) website features the Secondary Metrics Compendium, an analytical resource that allows users to search through a listing of metrics that supplement the USAID Country Roadmaps. This tool is a collaborative effort between the Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning's (PPL) Analytics Team and USAID Data Services. Questions can be directed to PPLAnalytics@usaid.gov.

The USAID Data Services team responds to requests for data, analysis, and visualizations from USAID staff in Washington and in the field, and from other USG agencies.
